It’s Up to Us to Make it Happen

I ran into this video on my friend Jeff Holton’s Facebook wall. It spoke to me deeply. I hope it will speak to you as well.

Have you ever been moved to quit your job and follow your heart?

Yep! Very touching. He said about feeding them physically and emotionally and I feel so “uncommitted” because Christians should not only be doing that, but also feeding them spiritually. For some people it is enough just to contribute a certain amount of money while “hands on” is left for just a few…

So true. We should fee the whole person: body, mind and soul.

At this point in my life, i am ready to give up my job.I am an ordinary poor girl from a poor place and i am used to have a hard life so why should i be afraid to face another hardship of life? It’s hard to decide but i will follow my heart’s desire,It’s what i’ve been holding on.

I hope you’ll find a way to pursue your heart regardless of your fears. It sounds like you’re already moving that way.

Wow, incredible video. To answer your question, yes I have left to follow my heart as you know. But admittedly it wasn’t for a purpose like this. When he said, “What is the purpose of life? It’s to give. Start giving…” I hope that becomes a heart cry for our world as it has for this man. Thanks for sharing.
