It’s Up to Us to Make it Happen

I ran into this video on my friend Jeff Holton’s Facebook wall. It spoke to me deeply. I hope it will speak to you as well.

Have you ever been moved to quit your job and follow your heart?

  • Beautiful. Inspiring. Convicting. Thank you for sharing this.

  • Great story.

Yep! Very touching. He said about feeding them physically and emotionally and I feel so “uncommitted” because Christians should not only be doing that, but also feeding them spiritually. For some people it is enough just to contribute a certain amount of money while “hands on” is left for just a few…

    • So true. We should fee the whole person: body, mind and soul.

At this point in my life, i am ready to give up my job.I am an ordinary poor girl from a poor place and i am used to have a hard life so why should i be afraid to face another hardship of life? It’s hard to decide but i will follow my heart’s desire,It’s what i’ve been holding on.

    • I hope you’ll find a way to pursue your heart regardless of your fears. It sounds like you’re already moving that way.

  • Wow, incredible video. To answer your question, yes I have left to follow my heart as you know. But admittedly it wasn’t for a purpose like this. When he said, “What is the purpose of life? It’s to give. Start giving…” I hope that becomes a heart cry for our world as it has for this man. Thanks for sharing.
