It’s Been a Very Long Week and This is a Good Way to End It.

23

This is part of my random Friday collection. I don’t know what to say about this video, but it is as captivating as it is scary. It beckons you to watch it much like a train wreck that horrifies and yet compels you to keep looking and watch it some more.

How would you describe this experience?

  • Chris

Wow. I don't know what to say. wow.

  • Robert Jameson

I don't think I'll be able to sleep well tonight, but I somehow keep singing along with the haunting melody. I would describe this as "scary."

  • TNI warehouse

LOL. this is awesome. Love the old dude. You're right, great way to finish the week. Thanks for sharing.

  • Makeda

    Thats just plain frightening!!

  • Jeff

one minute six seconds of my life I will never get get back, I couldn't finish it

  • Trey

Where do I bill you for the 3 minutes of my life you just stole? That was odd.

  • Gail Hyatt

Where DO you find these things????

And if it weren't bad enough, he lip-syncs it.

Well, at least you obviously helped him with his wardrobe. Whew!

  • Gail Hyatt

    Me too!

  • Eric

Russian? Pretty sure that was in English. At least the parts with the "oh" sound.

  • Brian

Fake. 🙂 This is a new fad with youtube videos. Someone did this same thing with Kings of Leon. They do a great job, but you can see the flaws.

  • Billy Williams

This is nothing, my great grandmother used to make me watch Lawrence Welk. She always wanted me to play drums for him so I could perform in a shirt with puffy sleeves. Imagine her horror when I joined a metal band. Thanks for sharing.

  • ScottMcQueen

Wow! I think I'm going to have night terrors. Is this a KGB torture tool?

  • AymieJoi

I couldn't help but think of Mr. Bean – specifically the time he goes to church and only knows the chorus of All Creatures of Our God and King. Hilarious!

  • Maurilio

Gaiil, sadly these things find me!

  • MaurilioAmorim

Trey, you sound like a consultant with billable hours. I've trained you well! 🙂

  • MaurilioAmorim

    🙂

  • MaurilioAmorim

There's more horror here than in a metal band!

  • MaurilioAmorim

I heard many spies gave up their secrets by watching this over and over.

His voice resonates beautifully in the Great Russian Geriatrics Dome. I could not believe at the 1:47 mark he skips an entire stanza. How unprofessional when you can't remember the 3rd hum!! It was hard to focus on his singing because my eyes were so fixated on that gorgeous metal fabrication in his backdrop. Stunning work! If I could get the name of the Jr. High that fabricated that . . . .they so got a future!

I would like to know how the singers mom made the yellow gold tie he was decked in. Most of you have no idea how hard it is to cut and sew auto upholstry off a 68 Dodge Dart. I would also like to get the name of the Russian Taxidermist who did his hair. That was award winning!

The guy brings it for his audience . . . that's the real take-away here!

  • MaurilioAmorim

JIm,I think this was the best review yet.

  • Warren

Paul and Storm (and Wil Wheaton) did this much better at PAX East this year —

  • Mitch Ebie

    A lyrical masterpiece!
