Even though I think their theology is flawed–we’re gonna have a big breakfast in heaven–this video just make me happy!

In the clip, Minister Cleo Clariet and his fiancé Katherine Lane are shown singing on “The Kay Bain Show” in Tupelo, Mississippi in May or June of 2004.Clariet passed away from congenital heart disease on Dec. 13, 2004. Lane said he would have been thrilled to know his song is now entertaining so many people.

So what’s your favorite breakfast food? Mine? Biscuits with chocolate gravy, eberskivers (Dutch pancakes filled with jams, fruits or cheeses), and egg white omelets.

    eberskivers sound so good! Chocolate gravy? Not so sure…lol! My favorite is an omelette with mushrooms, sausage, cheese, onions and green peppers. Yum!

    @just1reason, Chocolate gravy is like chocolate sauce. It's made with butter cocoa and cream. It tastes great on a biscuit, trust me.

    Actually, when you think about it, his theology is spot on. He never said we're gonna have a big breakfast in heaven. He said there'll be no more need for breakfasts since God's Word (John 1:1) will be all that's needed to feed us. Like he said: we won't need breakfast anymore because we'll be reborn in heaven where our bodies that won't age, grow ill, hunger, or die. After a while, the video does kind of grow on you, doesn't it? I think my family and I will be singing this from now on every time we have one of those things for breakfast. =)

    Nothing like stopping by a month later, but anyway….On the recommendation of many I stopped at Shopsin's in the Essex Street Market in NYC for probably the best ebelskivers I will ever eat. Highly recommended, but be sure you take a thick skin and a willingness to tolerate some rather, um, profane conversations amongst the regulars.
